A 'Castle' Exorcism on Film for Sony Pictures USA.
The Canadian Crew were a little apprehensive about their first Exorcist meeting, let alone getting involved with exorcisms.
Having explained how we worked everyone settled in to the mood.
We had a Castle that needed understanding and energies removing but in more than one day or a few short hours.
The Castle on arrival looked peaceful enough but had mysteries abound.
We started at the reception and I was met by more than the manager and the receptionist.
The first interview was with the manager.
After a few minutes I had to take the film crew upstairs to the one room in particular for activity.
I was met by a man of a good size who walked straight up to me and asked me to speak openly, this was unknown by the group at first.
His name remarkably was 'Ralph' as I informed everyone and he immediatly told me of an accident with his brother,
the one where his brother had died.
Next on his agenda to talk about was a woman whom to him had to be controlled and kept away from her admirer.
As I told the manager, the Castle had a secret, a woman was locked in the wall of the bedroom - his face went white!
The manager then explained, "It's a little known piece of information which seems to be true."
I explained that she was still roaming the hotel, the corridors and is now seen looking out of the windows waiting for her lover to return.
She in fact is often seen as a shadow or light anomaly in the windows on the same floor.
We wandered over to the other bedroom where I duly announced the woman would appear by the bedside in front of guests.
Again the manager looked on, shocked. Only one week before a guest had seen the woman as he woke.
I explained she was looking at any man who slept there to see if her lover had returned.
In fact I told the manager, "This is the room where objects move or are heard, this lady would move them to attract attention."
To which I was told the cleaner now keeps the room door open, because her way was barred one day by the cabinet near the door.
It had moved across in front of the door and had terrified her.
At that moment, I became aware of the lady's presence and she told me how she liked to comb her hair and that her smell would linger for everyone to know she was present.
The corridor too had its surprises and I told the crew to watch for any shadows or movement in there.
No sooner said than done, the lights flickered and off popped one bulb in dramatic fashion.
I told everyone, "Ralph walks the corridors but especially outside this room mainly to let you hear him."
Then I questioned the size of the first bedroom. "He's just told me he's annoyed at it being smaller than he knew".
The manager again nodded "Yes, that's right the room has just been made smaller......" Then silence.
We came back the next day and the whole staff had been talking, the look on their faces told me it had been an uneasy night for them.
I decided to wander the top flight of stairs and was told by the two spirit children that the window had gone.
The window was actually boarded up on the stair side but visible in the court yard.
They also mentioned that this was not the original place for the stairs and again this was true. The stairs had been dramatically altered
(they had been swapped around).
Again everyone looked on at me, as out came fact after fact being told to me by the two children.
The two children, when you're in the staircase area, would generally touch you or pull on your coat,
so that you would feel them around you.
For me the top rooms were for that moment intriguing,
for this area in particular is where the lady hides from the master.
She hated anyone knowing she was there, and, told me off in the process for telling her secret.
She immediatly slammed a door closing off the room and made everyone jump.
I was then drawn to the dungeon, I knew quite a task lay ahead of me.
Down the stairs I was met immediatly by the feeling that the rooms went on for some distance
and down another floor.
We encountered rather quickly a tortured soul, who's pain and agony I could feel.
It was he who showed me the escape tunnel and he who had tried to use it.
But he'd been chained and cruelly beaten for crimes he'd not been party to.
Could I help him was his plea, I helped him move on and have peace.
But not before we were subjected to many sounds and pushes to keep us awake.
There's more to this I know, as the agony I went through told me how this man had suffered.
Then suddenly I was told in no uncertain terms of an 'accidental murder' by a man standing next to me.
"What was that about ?" I asked and he proceeded to tell me of a family feud and the accidental murder of the brother.
"Go to another room on the second floor to see for yourself" was the reply.
I led the crew on the most dramatic walk of all, up the flights of stairs and onto the second floor.
Walking round the corridor I came to the room I needed to be in.
The staff member looked on in horror at me.
I stood at the door and said, "This room is mainly blue with a bed in the middle of the room",
a gasp from the key holder told me I was right!
The door was opened for us to see a large blue carpeted room with blue curtains and a blue canopy over the bathroom.
I told them the room was different according to the details the man was giving us.
Then it hit me. A searing pain filled my head.
"He's been shot and brought in here, he died here....murder...."
Whilst we were descending the stairs to the reception, the castle owner had started his interview to camera.
He was explaining that one of the feuding brothers had been shot by accident outside and brought back to the castle room upstairs to be nursed.
Unknown to the owner I'd just given out the same news of the shooting to the crew upstairs.
Upon hearing my story he was amazed as this wasn't common knowledge.
I stepped forward and asked, "Have you also found the Horse thats buried here, nearby ?"
His face was a picture. "How did you know about that? No one but me knows anything about that!"
I replied, "The Lady of the castle has just told me.
But it died in a horrible fall killing both rider and the horse later.
This happened in the woods where the trees form a ring and nearby is a marker warning you not to go too far."
He couldn't believe my information as he'd been very sceptical until then.
We were the first to hit him with information on the horse and the feuding brother being killed.
In all, our three days at the castle proved eventful, as the filming will show.
The camera crew after the first day decided that they would shoot all the time,
as I was getting result when they least expected it.
They watched on as I explained what would happen next and spirit worked with me providing them with spectacular results.
From lights blowing, to steps walking by us, cold icy blasts from now where to voices and the odd push.
In all, very eventful for the film crew and the castle staff.
I'm writing more on this in my book so you'll not only see the filming but read about the stuff they aren't showing.
The crew went back to Canada and are happy to report that everyone still can't get over the events, even today.
