Exorcisms in Old Homes

Exorcism on a home in fact any home is not easy, but there are some that need cleansing. This cottage has stood for over two hundred years and quite peacefully, that is until three years ago then it started.
On the face of it all seemed silly, the odd light bulb, missing knives and a kitchen door that just keep closed. In all something you'd call typical of any homes events which go unnoticed until one day you add things together. The incidents had started easy enough with the simple stuff but more recently things were getting pretty wild, in fact culminating in a flying pot plate, starting at one corner of the kitchen and landing stuck in the ceiling at the far side (they stated nobody was in the kitchen). To date they have had anything religious smashed and been simply scared out of their wits with noises and sightings. As Luck would have it the day I arrived everything was in full flight.

I know you're taking the sceptical look on here, as did I at first. In fact the more I asked the couple not to say the more they told me, I'd wanted to check myself and anyway I'd heard similar stories before. I looked on and then asked them to simply 'Shut up', nicely of course. To me the problem was simple "You're in a witch's home" was my answer, "Boy is she mad !". She really was going to make her point and had over the year brought things forward at a pace and she wasn't going to let go, easy . . .

Why is she mad and what is she all about is not a pretty story. She'd lived in the home only by chance but how is still a mystery. Today she wasn't happy with the new couple, they'd upset her and she wanted to let them know. She told me how she'd been plunged into water (a pond behind the home down the back lane) to die at an age of 56 and had decided to cursed the villagers. So picking on the couple was easy, they'd had the gumption to re-route the water spring in the back garden without her permission. Now she was glad to be around and plague the home with upset and negative aura's everywhere. This spring was 'a life' spring to her and her essence was in the pond above, She told me they'd simply dumped her body and burned it later.

Of course once in the home the witch immediatly flew at me restricting me from entering the property. Slamming the door in my face and spitting water in all directions was meant to act a deterrent.
The family told me these were common occurences and had often woken up in a wet bed. I told them the witch had endured torture and wanted us to know it, the owner himself then told me how he'd suffered scratch's on his body and face. The lady owner of the cottage had felt her feet hot on occassions and often had blood around her feet, but not her own blood. This witch wanted to get them out as they were evil people to her, changing the spring as they'd done making the energies flow in other directions.

She insisted she'd been helping others before she was cruelly tortured and laughed at by these strange men calling into the village. Now these people came to live in the property and wanted the 'life' force to change. The owners looked on amazed as they had indeed moved the spring, it would overflow in winter and was causing damp to the home. A natural step for them bringing less problems in the home, but, unfortunate because this had caused the witch's life energy to awaken from its protection of the home.

So I was faced with a force capable of harm, not out of evil but on of anger and vengeance. We had to block the property from this force by systematically blocking each of the rooms upstairs and downstairs. Not an easy task taking some 6 hours and some emotional scenes of anger to us. Twice the lights went out and I insisted on candle light after the events. The whole house creaked and seemed to talk to us in fact we all saw a small pig like shadow run from the main hall into the court yard. I ended up with bruises on my hands as see attacked me for defending all those in the house.

Towards the last room it became evident the heat we were all feeling was the witch's energy building for a final encounter. I took everyone outside and sealed the property by encouraging others to help. I walked to the pond and we all witnessed the splashing some two or three feet from where the witch had directed us. I immediatly said this could have been fish or something similar only to be immediatly met with an unearthly roar and water cascade down on us. By now we'd all experienced her force, I reasoned with her outside by the pond when it all stopped.

I did wait and felt her presence had gone, but suddenly she attacked the female owner full on. Grabbing her hair and ripping a chunk out which to us seemed to float gently into the pond some distance in. Then it stopped for good with only the smell of what I can only describe as rotten fruit, a kind of sweet but acrid smell. I did however pass on a message to the owners that they should research the witch and put a small plaque or remembrance stone where we stood. This witch wasn't evil but had those undertones to her.

Thankfully the witch didn't return as we stayed for a further two nights at the owners request. We did however ask the local historian who agreed with us that there was indeed an old lady who'd stayed in the village and according to local writings of the time was drowned and burned as a witch. But he couldn't state whether it was the house they owned or the pond where she was drowned.

Still that's up to the owners and yourself to make your minds up, all I know is the events speak for themselves and the owners couldn't deny the images nor feeling they'd encountered in our exorcism of the home and property.
