Ouija boards, Why Be Scared - Its Only YOUR imagination or Auto Suggestion....isn't it !

OUIJA BOARDS

Ok time to clear up a little Mis Representation. These are 'Talking Boards', what ever disguise you put them in - What ever is placed on their board.



You may know them as Ask the Glass, Spirit of the Glass, the Moving Wineglass, Talk board, yes yes, ouija or by a number of other titles, but no matter what the name, this improvised Ouija board is essentially the same. A ring of alphabet cards surrounds a makeshift planchette, usually an upside down wineglass etc.



Two cards marked YES and NO are at opposite points of the circle. The sitters lightly touch the base of the wineglass, ask a question and then wait patiently for the glass to slide to the different letters, spelling out the answer.



Some find that rituals like purifying the wineglass by momentarily holding it over the flame of the candle or reciting an invocation enhances the seance experience. This is an old, old way to make a Ouija board. The earliest mention we found was in a "do it yourself" article printed in a spiritualist magazine dated 1911 but we are certain that it is even older than that. You may want to cut out some cardboard squares, letter them and try it out for yourself.

The most common way of protecting yourself when using the glass method is to place a piece of silver on the top of the glass. It is to protect your souls and draw the spirit into an area of the glass and hold it in place. The Silver to keep the energy within the glass as precious metal allows the force of the energy to focus itself here. Silver being the prefered 'faith' metal and pure protector of good.



SCRYING Techniques

The Pendulum Method has been in use, as a scrying tool, since the late 300's or earlier. It was used by the ancient Romans to find out who would be successor to the present emperor(Valens). Methods for using the pendulum do not vary much, since this time. The fellows who were pendulum scrying, apparently used a ring attached to a silk thread, which was attached to a live laurel branch. The branch was then held by the scryer, and the pendulum would swing back and forth within the circumference of a metal bowl. The bowl had letters written on it, and the letters obtained from scrying, were to spell a verse, which would tell of the next emperor.

Today, there a several methods in use. The most common are:
The scryer sits at the scrying table and places the elbow of their scrying hand on the table. Most people use the hand that they do NOT use for writing. Relaxed and holding the pendulum with their scrying hand, they suspend the pendulum in a glass, with the pendulum very close to one of the sides of the glass. Then they ask the question. The pendulum moves to hit the side of the glass, one time for yes, two times for no, or visa versa.

Another pendulum scrying method, is to take a piece of paper and mark it with a cross. Holding the pendulum in thee same manner, as above, they suspend the pendulum above the cross and ask the question. The pendulum will move back and forth, one way on the cross for yes, and the other way for no.

Still another pendulum method, uses the same cross, but the pendulum circles the cross, clockwise for yes, counter-clockwise for no.

Most people seem to believe that the answers come from your higher self, or soul, rather than divinity. Your higher self has access to the past, present, and future, and can give very accurate answers to your most important questions. Using the pendulum is just one of many ways to contact it, for answers







The Water Method - to see another image

This method requires you to place water on silver mirror tray. You simply look into the face and focus on one area, try not to stare too hard. The idea is to focus on the whole facial image. When relaxed tap the edge of the try to create a ripple. The resulting image should show you another face.

A similar method but using a tilted method gives you a similar effect. Simply stare at your own face and have water poured over the mirror. Once this happens the new face is instantanious.
